Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies

Oreos are a wonderful thing.  After all of the Christmas sweet treats in December I started to go through a sugar withdraw.  Even with my cold, my body still wanted some sweetness.  These cookies were the remedy.

I had seen all sorts of recipes online for Oreo cookies.

Double Chocolate Oreo Cookies.

Cookies and Cream Pudding Cookies.

White Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies.

Lots and lots of cookies.

My cookies are a combination of many.  I don't like white chocolate all that much so that was out.  I didn't have any pudding packages so that was out too.  In the end the recipe came out to a pretty simple chocolate chip cookie recipe with the addition of Oreo crumbles.

Don't underestimate the Oreo crumbles. These cookies are fantastic.  With only 6 Oreos there was tons of Oreo flavor.  Moist, chewy cookies.  One a day for a week was the perfect cure to my sugar cravings.

  1. LOVE this recipe! Love that it only makes 1/5 dozen - love that it has OREOS (!!) and chocolate chips - they look so soft and perfectly round. Wow. I am blown away!
