Summer in Maine

What makes Maine wonderful in the summertime...

Blueberry Cake

Fresh Berries for Breakfast

The Beach.  Even when the water is freezing.  Even when there are crazy women trying to get pictures of seagulls.

Lobster Pounds on the Coast

Ice Cream with Jimmies.  Yes, jimmies not sprinkles.

Steamers

More LOBSTERS!

Homemade Bread and Butter Pickles

If only there were more months of this and less months of SNOW!

  1. What a lovely summer! I am allergic to seafood and shellfish, so I miss a lot of Maine's summer draw...but I like ice-cream and bread and butter pickles (not necessarily together!). Enjoy your summer!
