A,B,Cs Revisited

TGIF! This week was a bit rough for blogging.  I wasn't inspired to get into the kitchen. Our dinners were just to get us feed.  These feelings don't come often and I can already sense them fading away.  Recipes to come this weekend.  Bread anyone?  Until then here is a no picture (gasp!) post.

A is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety?

Honeycrisp is my absolute favorite. So crispy and sweet.

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of?

I love Anadama bread. A little molasses and cornmeal makes the bread quite hearty.

C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!) Currently-

Barbara’s cinnamon puffins.

D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy?

I am not a huge fan of donuts. They always give me a tummy ache. Homemade chocolate cake donuts though or apple cider donuts in the fall.

E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared?

Over easy and I am not picky about the yoke breaking.

F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product?

I always get fat free plain yogurt for my smoothies.

G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours at?

Stop and Shop, Big Y, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s

H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink?

I am a huge fan of hot chocolate. I don’t care how old I get; I will always love hot chocolate.

I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping.

Coconut and banana ice cream are my favorite flavors. Vanilla ice cream with fresh raspberries is the best combination ever!

J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavor?

Jams, I need some sustenance. Raspberry is my favorite.

K: is for Kashi, name your favorite Kashi product?

Heart to Heart cereal is good. Their new Go Lean Berry crisp is a nice alternative to granola.

L: is for Lunch, what was yours today?

Um, I had a salad with left over pork loin chopped up. Two pieces of Anadama toast with basil hummus.

M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack?

I use the microwave the most for quick oatmeal in the morning.

N: is for nutrients, do you likes carbs, fats, or proteins best?

Huh, I love them all sometimes cheese and nuts are the best at others if fruit all the way.

Olive oil for cooking

Most of my meals have beans, cheese, or meat.

Tomatoes!

S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind?

A grill cheese sandwich with peanut butter and jelly; it’s really good.

I always pack snacks just in case something happens while travel. I always plan ahead for where we are going to research restaurants and make sure no meal is wasted.

U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos?

Refer to the sandwich above. Most people think that is pretty weird.

V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take?

A multi-vitamin gummy snack once a day. In the winter I add in Vitamin C.

Yay! Wasabi. I use so much I have to plan bringing in Kleenex. Normally my eyes and nose are running like mad the time I am through.

Not much, I have only had coffee thus far.

Roasted or Sauté. I cannot stand steamed zucchini all mushy. Yuck!
