I almost ran a race today. Only 3 miles but it was scheduled at 11am. I really only wanted the shirt; It had a lobster on it. I never signed up and I am pretty sure if I had I still would have skipped it. Too hot.
I realized at the gym yesterday I don't really push myself anymore. I am just too tired after work and don't care. I am going to try and change that. I ran 3 miles no problem yesterday. So much easier to do this in the morning than at 6pm at a long day at work.
I think watching the Olympics helps too. I want legs like the marathoners. We will see if the motivation carries me through the week. An earlier wake up time will help too.
