Weekend Edition: Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!  Did you get up and go to brunch? We talked about it but all of the places around here increase their prices ten-fold for Easter and Mother's Day and I don't think the food is any better, just more people to deal with.

After a quick trip to the gym I made omelettes for breakfast.  Last weekend we had an amazing breakfast out with omelettes and pancakes. I have been fantasizing about a redo all week.  Mr. J had ham and cheddar cheese. I had kale, onions and goat cheese. It was delicious.  We used leftover roasted potatoes and honey muffins as sides.  Who needs to go out when you can whip up a meal like this at home?  The omelettes are never as pretty at home but the price is right and you don't have to feel bad with any special request orders.

Here is what I was up to this week:

Fresh Fruit Pizza

Mom in the Kitchen: Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Leftover Steak, Top 9, and WIAW

Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Friday's Five Spring Fashion Finds

April Thoughts on Whole Living

We are off for a nice hike in the woods. Hope you are enjoying your Easter day!
