I haven't had a S'mores all summer long. A tragedy. And now we are in August and I have major catch up to do. I am not the camping type so spending a week in the woods for a camp fire is out of the question.
I had all of the ingredients for these bars and with a house guest this weekend I thought it was the perfect time to try it out. Let me tell you these things are DELISH! They taste just like a S'mores. And if you like the mess of a S'mores they even leave your fingers sticky and mouth with marshmallow strings. I already had requests for a remake.
If you don't have plans to go camping anytime soon. These bars will certainly meet your S'mores craving.

These look like a winner... and no need to build a fire. :)
ReplyDeleteWe loved these! I made the mistake, though, of trying to stir a few marshmallows into the batter which made it extra sticky / gooey but they were SO YUMMY! They were gone by the next day. :)
