Tonight marks the 9th night in a row Mr. J and I are both home. Sadly it is the last night for a while. This weekend though we sure lived it up by celebrating his upcoming birthday. We both got a gift certificate for our birthdays at Union League Cafe from my brother and sister-in-law.
Saturday was date night to 10th degree. We got appetizers, wine and hearty entrees.
Mr. J was beyond excited to see bison ribeye on the seasonal menu. It doesn't look too much of anything on the picture above but I can assure you he ate every last bite.
Along with our desserts we got a special birthday plate with cookies and candied orange dipped in chocolate. I took the cookies; Mr. J took the orange pieces.
