Top 5: Disney World

Oh boy it is Friday and I am excited.  Why?  Because tomorrow I am off to the HAPPIEST PLACE IN THE WORLD.  Disney World!  In honor of our trip, today's Friday's five is some of my favorite places in Disney world.

Spot number one: Magic Kingdom Castle
Every girl needs a place to feel like a princess and this is it for me.  No matter how old I get I still dream about living in this castle.  I truly believe it is magical.

Spot number two: O'Hana Restaurant in the Polynesian Resort
This is similar to a Brazilian style steakhouse.  You start out with preset appetizers and salads and then the fun begins. The servers come again and again with skewers of chicken, steak, turkey and shrimp.  It is all you can eat style and I eat a lot of shrimp. You can even watch it being cooked up in the middle of the restaurant in the big fire pit.  The best part of the meal is the pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce.  You can have as many helpings of this as well but I can never fit more than one. All of the food here is delicious!

Spot number three: Walking around and viewing the landscape
Disney is known for its incredible gardens, decorations and themes. I love just strolling through all of the parks and seeing what there is to see.

Spot number four: Le Cellier restaurant, Epcot Canadian pavilion
This is an amazing steakhouse. They serve a bread basket with pretzel bread sticks that are out of this world.  The toughest decision here is the dessert.  I am always torn between the maple creme brule and the chocolate mousse.  As you can see below, the moose is super cute.

Spot number five: Epcot
Epcot has always been known as the adult theme park. This is my favorite.  I love strolling through each of the different countries and being transported to a new world. I could sit for hours in France listening to the workers speak in their French accents.  I also love going on Soarin', a ride brought over a few years ago from Disneyland.  You fly over the beautiful landscape of California. They have sounds, scents and motions to really make you feel like you are flying. I could ride this again and again and again.

Mr. J's pick: Animal Kingdom's Safari Adventure ride
In our five year plan, Mr. J and I dream of doing a real African Safari. Until then, Mr. J absolute loves this ride.  Each time is like a brand new exploration.  You never know what animals you will get to see.

Cannot wait to come back this year with new favorites and more pictures to share.

Have you ever been to Disney World?
