Why I Need A House?

There are some magazines that I really enjoy scanning at the gym. I always enjoying going through the mail and seeing a new arrival.  These magazines also typically mean I will have a longing for something I cannot quite obtain in the near future.

One such magazine is Better Homes and Garden.  Pinterest has also been my down fall.  House blogs can catch my interest almost as much as food blogs.  Almost.

Lovely rooms.

Visual appealing layouts.

Cool designs.

Sleek furniture. Pretty Colors.

I want a home.

  1. Those magazines drive me nuts because I know I'll probably never have a house like that...or the money to buy one! I guess we get the same masochistic thrill looking at beautiful home decor as we do looking at food on Foodgawker...

  2. I stopped thumbing magazines a while back but Pinterest is killing me every day. Although we have a house, it's not even close as beautiful as those picture perfect ones you see everywhere.
I just learned to love what I have or I'll never be happy

  3. I seriously wish I had home improvement skills, but I don't. Seeing those magazines makes me wish I did. Love the room with the white chaise.

  5. We spend most of our time in an apartment in Manhattan but we do have a house on Long Island. It resembles the homes in those photos the way an elephant resembles a motorcycle! Some day...when we win the lottery... :)

  7. Reading home magazines at the gym is definitely one of my favorites. Usually, I do a long cool down on the bike and read/obsess over new decor ideas. It's my workout reward!
