I don't know why I never thought of it before. Adding shredded coconut to a smoothie.
Coconut Green Monster
Ingredients:1 c spinach
1 frozen banana
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1/4 c rolled oats
3/4 c plain yogurt
1/2 c milk
Blend till smooth and top with granola. Yum!
I'm glad it turned out well....spinach in a smoothie might be a little difficult for me - but I'm willing to try it!
ReplyDeleteInteresting smoothie! I am not much of a smoothie person in general, so I am not sure I could do spinach. But it is so healthy, so why not!

ReplyDeleteOhhhhh great idea with the coconut! I have some shredded unsweetened coconut in my pantry that is waiting to be made into granola. Maybe I'll add a little to my next smoothie concoction! Thanks for sharing!
